The task was to redesign the agency’s website. The objective was to create a lead generation machine through a showcase of pure talent.
Being one of the biggest agencies in any market means many things. Chief among those: safety. National adaptation. Creative maintenance. Of course, by and large, Cossette is all that.
But how they came to be recognized in the first place is through their approach to strategic creativity. Knowing when it’s time to be big in the momentum their infrastructure provides and knowing when it’s time to be big on thinking and move nimbly.
The former is how you survive, the latter is how you thrive. The latter is how we decided we would present what really fuels the agency. To remind those who know and tell those who don’t what Cossette is in the most straightforward way.
The big nimble is the proposition I led.
In a pragmatic-bordering-on-brutalist fashion, the design approach brought very spartan yet detailed layouts, transitions, interactions and visual devices to a core experience engineered to impress onto the user a sense of sheer volume of great work by great people. A sense of multitude and immediacy which embodies the big nimble.
The key engine of the core experience was to attract both business and talent leads by turning any piece of content into a case study, explicit or implicit. Outright case studies showcasing the project’s talents’ insights with due credits and visibility; in-depth case studies of certain insights from a project as the base for thought leadership pieces, directly from the talents; a study of correlated trends across multiple projects presented as a discussion between talents, etc. Putting the top-shelf talent front and center, along with a device to directly reach out to their immediate team to work with them, either as a talent or to do business was the way we conceived a lead generation machine through a showcase of exceptional talents.
The existing brand material graphically empowered a daring redesign of its digital articulation: bold and pared down, we doubled down on both and enriched it with impactful motion devoid of superfluous sophistication, resulting in an energetic platform.
